If so, then the Supply Chain online program at Eastern College is just the right choice for you. This program provides you with the opportunity to pursue a diploma at your own pace and offers online courses to give you the flexibility to comfortably fit an education into your busy life.
Supply chain workers monitor a company’s internal activities which ensure that an organization is running smoothly; these aspects include controlling operations and the procurement of goods and services.This concept refers to the moving of goods or services from supplier to customer through processes of conception, design, manufacturing, and shipping, and today’s global market requires capable, well-rounded employees who can multi-task and take on a variety of challenges.
This program will help you adapt skills you need to become a well-trained and efficient professional, fit for this fast-growing industry. You will gain extensive knowledge on Canadian business in the global marketplace, focus on international transport and trade, learn how to create and modify database tables using Microsoft Access, practice identifying common causes of asset loss and much more.
Students enrolled in the program receive:
- Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate*.
*Graduates who meet the requirements outlined by the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) will achieve a certificate in International Freight Forwarding. This certificate is globally recognized within the international transportation and international trade logistics industries.
Full time Schedule:
You also have the option to take the Supply Chain program full-time.
In just 32 weeks, you can obtain four certifications:
– Business & Supply Chain Fundamentals Certificate
– Supply Chain Customer Service Certificate
– Supply Chain Purchasing & Inventory Management Certificate
– Supply Chain Transportation Certificate
Part time Schedule:
You can take the Supply Chain program part-time, committing up to ten hours a week to complete the requirements.
Each subsequent 16-week blocks, you will work towards the following:

– Supply Chain Customer Service Certificate
– Supply Chain Purchasing & Inventory Management Certificate
